Océ PRISMAprepare version 5.1 software adds value, functionality and intelligence to the preprint workflow.
Simplifies job preparation
Designed with the user in mind, device-independent Océ PRISMAprepare document preparation software simplifies job preparation from composition through production, offering robust clean-up, automated layout, soft proofing and basic preflighting. Capabilities include a standard PDF workflow, rapid corrections and cleanup, an intuitive user interface and a true WYSIWYG preview of the entire prepress process, which eliminates the need for hard-copy proofs and minimizes environmental impact.
Océ PRISMAprepare version 5.1 adds several new features and enhancements that accelerate productivity. These include support for full-bleed tabs, integrated color management and simplified programming of jobs with repeating pages to name a few.
Unleashes the full potential of production printers

The new software release adds integrated color management capabilities with advanced features for modifying image color, brightness and saturation. Users can make last-minute changes without having to send an entire document back to prepress. In addition, they can replace or change colors with the click of a mouse, create custom spot colors, access standard PANTONE Matching System® and HKS® spot color libraries and ensure the consistent use of company colors throughout a document.
Streamlines preparation of full-bleed tabs
The next-generation software also streamlines preparation of single or double-sided, square or rounded, full-bleed tabs in color or black & white. Print professionals can automatically create full-bleed tabs using section filenames, bookmarks or text files with up to three lines of text and a different color for each full-bleed tab, if desired.
For jobs with repeating pages, Océ PRISMAprepare 5.1 software makes programming and selecting repeating pages fast and automatic. Applications that benefit from this feature include NCR or mail-merge documents where every set uses the same settings for media and finishing.
