Senior Electrical Engineer
For our growing R&D centre inSingapore, we are recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will develop solutions for high-end printing and copying products. Wide ranging experience in electrical design will enable you to develop motor drives, sensor circuitry, user interfaces and system-level controllers. You will participate in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary design team, in close co-operation with R&D in The Netherlands and with Purchasing and Manufacturing Quality within Océ Technologies Asia inSingapore.

Responsibilities
Identify and resolve design, manufacturing and quality related issues
Provide DFM/DFT fedback to R&D peers
Interface with R&D team in transitioning new products to manufacturing
Interface with local CM’s during prototype build and ensure test coverage and overall quality
Collaborate with peers in R&D, NPI and Procurement in executing PCBA or cost reductions
Work with R&D peers for prototype bring up of PCBA’s and Systems
Involve in Electrical subsystem design for Printing and Copying products
Produce CAD schematics for your own designs
Interact with component/PCBA’s supplier in delivering quality parts and review suppliercapability to support product development
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience in analogue and digital design
Possess good understanding of manufacturing process, methodologies and environment
Knowledge of NPI processes and requirements
Knowledge in design for quality,EMCand DFx requirements for supporting Printing and Copying products
Deep understanding of board and system level test strategies
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Hands on experience in testing and troubleshooting PCBA’s and Systems
Self-starter and work with minimal supervision
Good written and spoken English.
Prepared to travel occasionally to Europe and withinSE Asia
